The City Project

In 2019 Startup Sweden and Tillväxtverket created a docuseries where each episode is dedicated to a new city. We showcase astonishing organisations and people driving local startup ecosystems forward throughout Sweden.

Survival Survey

In order to understand how Swedish startups were affected by Covid-19, we conducted the Survival Survey. It was open in March and in September 2020 and gives an indication of their status at these two points in time.

We asked about team sizes and whether they were planning on reducing them, funding rounds, whether the very existence of their startup was uncertain and more.

Survival Guide

As a response to the issues and worries raised in our Survival Survey, we decided to pull together a few experts. In a series of podcast episodes they give their best How to-tips in five different areas. Moderated by Aurore Belfrage it has a very hands on approach.

Topics we chose were raising private money and soft funding, how to keep yourself and your team motivated remotely, how to communicate externally in times of crisis and also how to get a grip on Short-time Work Allowance.
